You continue to Amalfi, the most powerful Mariner Republic at the end of 10th century. We recommend visiting the abbey of Paradise and the church. Stroll through the main road which is connected with many narrow alleys between white fisherman’s´ houses. Return to the boat and overnight in the harbour of Amalfi.
From Amalfi you continue along the coast, cycling on a street with some ups and downs overlooking the Sea and crossing the villages of Minori, Maiori and Cetara. You can also make a detour to Ravello to visit the Dome which is dedicated to Saint Pantaleone. The blood of the saint liquefies there every year on 27th of July. Enjoy the view beyond the Gulf of Salerno and Cilento mountains. We recommend visiting Villa Cimbrone and Villa Rufolo whose architecture was an inspiration for composer Wagner. You continue along the coast to Vietri and Salerno. Overnight stay is in Salerno.
