You will be personally welcomed on our Rückenwind original trips. We will personally take care of the setting of your rental bikes and you can ask any questions about the tour. You will also receive some insider tips from our local tour guides.

Our entire team is characterized by a charming personality! Every single part of your bike trip, strives for a friendly word and support. Also our partner hotels are always happy to help and have often given us the feedback that our guests are very amiable. We experience this again and again! Cycling enthusiasts are always friendly!

On our Original Rückenwind journeys you will find an information meeting on site. Here you will receive all the logistical information to ensure a smooth holiday. Questions and ambiguities can be resolved in advance! Aporo’s world – the local employees are also very familiar with the respective region! So you get some extra tips for your bike trip. You can also use our digital information call in advance! This gives you all the information you need. We often provide you with small brochures with insider tips. Even if you do not make it to the information meeting or if there are other reasons why you should not have a personal meeting, all the information is available to you.

During the season we are available through a service hotline 7 days a week from 08:00 to 19:00. You will find this phone number on your rental bike or in your travel documents. Our employees on site and in the office are happy to help.

Handover and adjustment of the rental bikes!

If you book our rental bike, we need your height to select the right frame size. We have different frame sizes for each type of radar to offer you the most comfortable cycling stage. Our rental bikes are all reliable, robust, low-maintenance and comfortable. You just don’t want to give up your own saddle? No problem. You only need a patented saddle post and can steer our rental bike with your saddle.

Our touring bikes have the following equipment:

  • Handlebar bag as required
  • Saddle bag per wheel
  • Wheel lock per room
  • Service set (incl. tools and repair set) per room
  • Pump per room
  • Kilometers

 

You will receive a luggage bag from our cooperation partner “Vaude” with a volume of approx. 20 L with each rental bike booking. The bag can be used to lower the center of gravity for safe driving. In addition, you can easily place a luggage roller or, if necessary, a replacement jacket.

Our luggage transport – reliable and friendly

Our drivers pick up your luggage in the morning at the start hotel and bring it to the nearest accommodation no later than 5:00 p. m. Please consider only the health of our drivers and limit your luggage to a maximum of 20 kilograms. How many travel bags You want to take them with you doesn’t matter! Or if you run into a great souvenir on the way? No problem – as a rule, you will receive several luggage tags in your travel documents, so that you can put your latest holiday souvenir marked with your travel bags. We’ll take it to the nearest hotel

If you have a breakdown or something unexpected happens then you can contact us! The driver and also our tour guides on site as well as our staff in the office will be happy to help.

Accessibility and service hotline

While you are cycling we are accessible. If something unexpected happens or questions remain open, you can call us at the office from Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 18:00 or contact our colleagues via the service hotline. Our service hotline is available daily from 08:00 to 19:00 during your cycling holiday. And our tour guides are also happy to assist you.

Arrival and departure

We work together with the German Railways and will be happy to send you offers for your arrival and departure. However, we always recommend a price comparison. Sometimes there are offers that we can’t guarantee you and sometimes the first class can be booked for the same or similar price as the second class. Give us a call, our employee Mr. Koffke will be happy to advise you.

If you are arriving by car and are planning a route tour, we would also be happy to recommend our return transfer!

Return transfer

The most popular destinations such as the Weser, the Elbe or the Danube cycle path are usually route tours. That raises the question, of course. How do I get back to the starting point? If you arrive by car, you must also return to the starting point. With your luggage and your own bikes, this becomes a challenge. That is why we also offer you your own return transfer for many cycling trips. Our staff will pick up your luggage and your bicycles from your last accommodation and bring you back to the starting point, where you can plan an extension or start your journey home immediately. It is often advisable to start the return transfer as a back transfer. You will have a more relaxed return journey, as your car will be waiting for you at the last accommodation. Feel free to ask us and advise you on questions of arrival and departure.
