Rental bikes on board: Smooth-running 7-speed unisex touring bikes or 8-speed e-bikes with hand and coaster brakes or with freewheel (subject to availability) and luggage rack bag. Electric bikes (limited number - early booking required) . Please indicate your height when booking.
Bringing your own bikes: Due to limited space on the sun deck, bringing your own bike is only possible on request and to a limited extent.
Bike tours: Individual and unguided. You will cover between 35 and 50 km. All distances mentioned are approximate distances of the recommended bike tours.
Onboard language: German, English
Cycling routes/difficulty level: flat, suitable for leisure cyclists, beginners, and children.
Excursion program: We offer a small excursion program that can only be booked directly on board. You will receive a brief description with your travel documents. Depending on the composition of the group, the excursions may be offered bilingually in German and English.
Holiday luggage: We recommend good rainwear, a bicycle helmet, a sun hat, and sports shoes.
Timetable and program changes: Subject to change without notice. If, for example, a route cannot be navigated due to low water, high water, or bad weather, the skipper reserves the right to change the route for your safety (this is not a reason for free cancellation). The same applies to lock and/or bridge repairs ordered by the authorities that were not announced in advance. Please also bear in mind that your riverboat is not only your “vacation hotel” but also a working vessel that is powered by engines and must be operated continuously, even at night (in some cases to pass through locks and bridges). We recommend that guests who are particularly sensitive to noise bring earplugs with them. Passing through locks causes disruption – this is the case on all Danube cruises – and unfortunately cannot be avoided.
Travel documents: EU citizens (who do not have any special circumstances, e.g., dual citizenship, primary residence abroad, or provisionally issued travel documents) require a valid identity card or passport for this trip, which must be valid for at least 6 months after the end of the trip. If you have a different citizenship or multiple citizenships, or if you have to comply with special legal requirements, please check the respective visa and entry requirements with your local consulate.
This trip is suitable for people with limited mobility.
