Our tip: Winter holidays in the south
The 2026 cycling season doesn’t have to be over just yet. Destinations such as the ‘Flower Island’ of Madeira, in Portugal or mainland Spain are ideal winter holiday spots and offer cyclists that special something. Swap the grey, wet and chilly days for mild temperatures, a Mediterranean way of life and warm sunshine on your skin. Top up your vitamin D levels before the festive season, or kick off the New Year with a spring in your step in Mallorca.
