Embarkation
from 16:00 - 17:00
Disembarkation until 11:00 am
Minimum number of participants 90 persons up to 28 days before arrival
Bringing your own bike Due to the limited space available on the sun deck, it is only possible to bring your own bike on request and only to a limited extent. We exclude any liability for loss, theft, damage - this also applies to transportation damage from ship to shore and back.
Excursion program Can only be booked directly on board. You will receive a brief description with the travel documents. Depending on the composition of participants, the excursions are offered bilingually in German and English.
Vacation luggage: We recommend good rainwear, cycle helmet, sun hat and sports shoes.
Timetables and programs are subject to change. If, for example, a route cannot be sailed due to low water, high water or bad weather, the captain reserves the right to change the route for your safety (this is not a reason for withdrawal free of charge). The same applies in the event of officially ordered lock and/or bridge repairs that have not been announced in advance. On some bridges, the clearance height is so low that the sun deck is closed for your safety. In some cases, the bikes are stored on land overnight, as it is not possible to transport them on the ship the next day due to the low bridge clearance heights. When planning your day, please note that the ship is always slower than the cyclist due to the many locks.
Travel documents EU nationals (who do not have any special circumstances, e.g. dual citizenship, primary residence abroad or provisionally issued travel documents) require a valid identity card or passport for this trip, which must be valid for at least 6 months after the end of the trip. If you have another nationality or several nationalities or if you have to comply with special legal regulations, please contact your local consulate for information on the relevant visa and entry requirements.
This trip is not suitable for people with reduced mobility.
We recommend that you take out international health insurance with repatriation, accident, baggage and travel cancellation insurance.
