Itinerary

Travel independently to Omišalj, a tranquil harbor town on the island of Krk. Use the time before boarding to take your first swim in the Adriatic Sea or enjoy an ice cream at the ice cream shop located right on the harbor. After checking in on your motor yacht between 1:00 p.m. and 2:30 p.m., the boat departs at 3:00 p.m. and takes you to Cres in four hours. In the evening, you’ll take a short walking tour with the tour guide through the Venetian-style old town of Cres.

After breakfast, you’ll set out on your first bike tour, which takes you from Cres Town to Martinšćica. Here, your boat will be waiting to take you to lunch and on to the island of Lošinj. Weather permitting, you’ll stop for a refreshing swim along the way before your boat reaches the historic seafaring and spa town of Mali Lošinj, with its large harbor basin, numerous cafés, and colorfully painted house facades. Here, many charming cafés and bars invite you to enjoy a sundowner along the lively waterfront promenade.

Following the extensive waterfront promenade, which winds its way along many picturesque coves, you’ll reach the southernmost part of the island and visit the picturesque town of Veli Lošinj. The small harbor, with its numerous fishing boats, is dominated by the imposing Church of St. Anthony. After lunch, the ship sets sail and takes you to the flower-filled island of Molat, where you’ll complete another short bike ride and spend the night.

In the morning, the ship will take you to the spice island of Dugi Otok. In Božava Bay, surrounded by pine forests, agaves, and tamarisk trees, your bike tour begins on a road that’s almost entirely free of cars. First, you’ll head to the northernmost point of the island. The old lighthouse, built during the Austrian era, and a magnificent view offer some wonderful photo opportunities. From here, the journey continues southward: Enjoy the panoramic views along the “long island” on your way to Savar, where the ship is already waiting to take you to Zadar. For centuries, Zadar was the political, cultural, and intellectual center of Dalmatia. Three thousand years of history have shaped the cityscape here, and there is much to marvel at: the imposing city walls with their defensive towers, the Loggia, and the early Romanesque Basilica of St. Donatus.

After a morning ferry ride, you’ll reach the island of Pag. Many fig and olive trees thrive in the rugged yet charming landscape of this island. Over the centuries, numerous stone walls have been built here by the inhabitants to provide protection from the wind. From Novalja, you’ll cycle along the peninsula—which grows increasingly narrow—all the way to the sea at Lun, from where you’ll take a ferry to Rab. The island of Rab is one of the sunniest places in Europe. In the Middle Ages, the fortified island capital of the same name was built on a wedge-shaped headland—one of the highlights of the trip. The four famous bell towers define the skyline of this beautiful, romantic town. After dinner, many cozy cafés beckon visitors into the narrow alleys.

Today, you’ll explore the enchanting island of Rab on a beautiful circular bike tour. At noon, the boat will be waiting for you in the harbor right in front of Rab’s Old Town to take you across to the neighboring island of Krk. A stop for a swim in a secluded cove will provide the refreshment you need. You’ll spend the evening in the historic town of the same name.

Cycling over the island’s ridge, covered in fragrant, aromatic macchia, you’ll descend into a valley of vineyards and arrive at the museum town of Vrbnik in the northeast. Built on a cliff over 50 meters high in the midst of the vineyards, Vrbnik is home to the white Žlahtina wine. For lovers of superlatives, Vrbnik also boasts the second-narrowest alley in the world—a real challenge to stroll through. The route continues across the island through old villages and lush vegetation to Omišalj—Rijeka comes into view.  Along the way, you can enjoy a therapeutic mud bath in Soline Bay. After dinner, you can round out your trip with a cozy get-together with the tour guides and crew on board the ship. Overnight stay in Omišalj.

Disembarkation is after breakfast until 09.00. Then you set off on your individual journey home or get your transfer to the airport.
