By bike through the centre of Antwerp. Then along the rivers Schelde and Rupel among others through an old brick-drying area. The hotel is located in the centre of the "bell-ringing city" of Mechelen, in the middle of the historic old town with buildings from the 14th-18th centuries.

First you cycle along the Rupel, later back to the Schelde – with a brief passage on a little ferry. Detour into the centre of the little town Dendermonde possible (to have a coffee break on a lovely flemish market place or to change with the bicycle on the train to Gent). Today’s hotel is situated in the centre of the old cloth fabricating and modern university town Gent.

The idyllic countryside around the little meandering river Leie inspired artists for centuries. Noble villas with parks and past house-boats on small roads back to Gent.

Crossing the wide Flemish plain and along channels we cycle to the unrivalled „Museum Town“ Brugge: situated on the river Reie, streaked with „Grachten“ – little channels and with a medieaval character.

Along a quiet, poplar lined channel we first see the “city of Till Eulenspiegel” Damme, than we travel on to the sea-bath Knokke. In the afternoon we proceed to the lively town on the Netherland boarder Sluis. From there you go back to Bruges.
