Individual arrival in Lüneburg. In the late afternoon there will be the info talk and the bike handover (if booked).
On the "Wilseder Berg" you will enjoy the view of typical heath landscape today. You will cycle through small romantic hamlets into the wide landscape of the Nordheide National Park, which is characterised by pine trees, heath and moors. Your destination today is the recognised climatic health resort of Schneverdingen.
Experience various facets of the attractive heath landscape today: in the Hö-pen heath garden, at the Lünzen watermill and at the historic Wümme crossing and at the Schnu-ckenhof Wesseloh with its beekeeping and heath lamb breeding. A detour to the Holm Seppensen butterfly park with its hundreds of free-flying butterflies is possible before you reach Buchholz in der Nordheide.
You drive through the Klecker forest with the Hünenbett (megalithic grave) and reach Undeloh. The heart of the Lüneburg Heath lies in the middle of the nature reserve. The village is home to the Church of St. Magdalenen, one of the most beautiful heath churches in the region. The tour then takes you back to Lüneburg via the idyllic Sudermühlen farm. On the way, you can make a detour to the barefoot park in Egestorf.

Easy to moderately difficult. The route runs for the most part on farm tracks as well as small roads and cycle paths. On the way, you will occasionally come across slightly hilly, unpaved forest paths, occasionally also sand paths.
