You cycle through the north friesland coast to Dagebüll. Now you take the ferry to the green island Föhr. The village Wyk on island Föhr has one of the beautiest promenade of Germany. Overnight on the island.
Explore the luscious green island in North Frisia. Once you leave the capital city of Wyk, there is nothing but peace and tranquillity as far as the eye can see.
Enjoy the island of Amrum today. The sandbank is over 1 km / 1.6 mi wide and is one of the most awesome beaches on Germany’s North Sea coast. Frisian houses dot the landscape of meadows, sand dunes, forest, and heath. Stay overnight on the island of Amrum.
South of Amrum lie the small islands of Hallig Hooge in the Wadden Sea. There's no better place to be in the summer when flowers bloom. It's like being in an oasis. One of the greatest tourist attractions on Hooge is the parlour called the “Königs-Pesel”. It is named after the Danish king, Friedrich VI, who once spent the night there. Accommodations same as day 4. You may want to spend an extra night on the island and use the following day as a day of rest or to take an excursion to the island of Sylt.
Cycle through Dagebüll and along the dikes until you reach the North Frisian town of Bredstedt. The town is known as a centre for linguistic research. Stay overnight in or near Bredstedt.
Cycle along the dikes across the Wadden See, past Hamburger Hallig and Nordstrandischmoor. Continue to Nordstrand. The “Pharisäer”, a coffee drink made with rum and whipped cream, was created there.
