We're Celebrating 35 Years | Rueckenwind Reisen

The celebration took place in a festive atmosphere and provided an opportunity for conversation, reflection, and looking ahead. Together, we toasted the past years, had engaging conversations, and developed new ideas for future collaborations. It was inspiring to see just how diverse and vibrant our network is—and how much trust and friendship have been built up over the years.

A highlight of our anniversary celebration was the speech given by our CEO, Andreas Bunge. In a personal retrospective, he took us on a journey through the history of our company—from our beginnings in Oldenburg to our current international network.
What became particularly clear is that our success is based not only on good ideas and hard work, but above all on strong partnerships. Many of our long-standing partners have been with us for decades... This long-standing partnership is a sign of trust, loyalty, and mutual respect for us.

The speech was not only a look back but also a look ahead. New projects constantly arise in our daily work—and sustainability is currently a particular focus. Together, we want to bring visions to life that will have a positive impact not only on our industry but also on our society.

Nature plays a central role, especially in our cycling tours. Active travelers are looking for experiences that combine nature, culture, and cuisine. But sustainability is about much more than just the environment—it also has a human dimension. That’s why we’re very much looking forward to this challenge.
The more we delve into the topic, the more opportunities we discover for how sustainable practices can contribute to a better quality of life for everyone.

Our sister companies from the Eurofun Group were also well represented—a sign of genuine solidarity within the group. We were particularly delighted to receive an invitation to visit our colleagues in Austria. The prospect of seeing them again soon fills us with anticipation. Shared discussions, new ideas, and quality time together are what make our team spirit and our daily work so special.

The celebration was marked by warmth, conversation, and a cheerful atmosphere. Thanks to numerous generous donations, we were able to present over 3,000 euros to the Straßenengel e.V. Oldenburg association—a gesture of solidarity in action that is very close to our hearts. In addition to the donations, our guests surprised us with thoughtful gifts.

One highlight was the delicious food from BBQ Ammerland, which we highly recommend. The photo booth provided plenty of fun and wonderful memories. The later the evening got, the more lively the photos became! And our DJ actually managed to get us out on the dance floor, since our industry is usually known for people just chatting with each other. Still, there was plenty of dancing that evening.

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who celebrated this day with us—whether in person here in Oldenburg or from afar with kind messages and donations to a good cause. Your presence and support mean the world to us! We look back with gratitude on a day filled with wonderful encounters, warm camaraderie, and shared plans for the future. A huge thank you to everyone who celebrated this day with us and made it truly special!
