Explore the Baltic coast and the National Parks of Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia by bicycle on scenic routes. The tour includes the three capital cities – Vilnius, Riga and Tallinn – with their historic districts designated as World Heritage Sites by UNESCO; and the previously-closed Curonian Spit and the beautiful Estonian island of Hiiumaa. Travel from Lithuania in the south, through Latvia and to Estonia in the north; experience a wide variety of towns, villages and countryside for an excellent introduction to the very distinct characteristics of these quite different countries.
Individual arrival in Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania for more than 600 years. Individual transfer to the hotel (not included). Check-in at the hotel. 7:00 p.m. (19:00) welcome meeting at the hotel with tour guide.
After breakfast we will have a sightseeing tour of Vilnius Old Town. In the afternoon transfer to Trakai (approx. 25 km), the old capital of the Lithuanian Grand Duchy, where you can visit the 14th century moated castle, picturesquely situated on an island in Lake Galve (optional). Afterwards the first bicycle tour on gently hilly country roads with beautiful views follows and finally transfer by bus to Kaunas. Optional: dinner at the hotel.
In the morning transfer along the river Memel/Nemunas to the coast. Along the river are the 17th century castles of Panemune and Raudone. In the afternoon picnic outside (included), followed by a bicycle tour from Vente to the famous Windenburg corner with the bird station and the 19th century lighthouse in the Memel delta. After a short bus ride arrival in Klaipėda (city of Memel), the only port city in Lithuania. Dinner on request at the hotel (optional).
In the morning you can go by bus or boat to Nida / Nida. On the way you will enjoy a beautiful view of the Curonian Spit and the sand dunes that separate the Baltic Sea from the Curonian Lagoon. City tour in Nida, one of the most beautiful seaside resorts in Lithuania. In the afternoon the bike tour on the coastal bike path through the Curonian Spit, famous for its amber and beautiful sandy beaches, follows back to Klaipėda. On the way to Klaipeda it will be possible to swim in the Baltic Sea. Arrival to Klaipėda, dinner at the hotel or local restaurant (included).
Drive to Palanga through the Regional Park of the Baltic Sea coast. Arrival to Palanga, the largest seaside resort in Lithuania. Visit to the Botanical Garden with Amber Museum. In the afternoon transfer to Riga with stop at the Hill of Crosses. Riga is the capital of Latvia and a medieval Hanseatic city worth seeing.
After breakfast, guided tour of Riga, famous for its Art Nouveau buildings. The afternoon is free for your own exploration or for an individual bike tour to Jûrmala, the most beautiful seaside resort in the Baltic States. A transfer back to the hotel in Riga is offered (included.)
In the morning transfer to Saulkrasti with a visit to the Bicycle Museum followed by a bicycle tour to Sigulda, located in the valley of the Gauja River. Arrival at the hotel and evening at leisure.
In the morning transfer to the largest Estonian island Saaremaa. Here you can explore the Baltic Sea coast by bike on the way to the village Angla on picturesque paths. Transfer to Mandjala, dinner at the hotel (included).
Enjoy a day trip over the beautiful island of Saaremaa. End the day with a visit to the island capital Kuressaare. Free time for explorations. Overnight stay in Mandjala/Saaremaa.

In the morning short ferry trip to the mainland and further travel by bus to Tallinn. In the afternoon arrival in Tallinn with sightseeing of the beautiful Old Town. Farewell dinner in a local restaurant (included) and overnight stay.

Eine interessante und sehr schöne Reise.
Es war von großem Vorteil, dass wir in einer kleinen Gruppe mit nur 8 TN waren. Dadurch war die Fahrt,, auch in Städten kein Problem. Unser Reiseleiter Edgaras war sehr kompetent, ruhig und flexibel. Er hat es auch genossen, so eine kleine Gruppe zu haben. Auch der Fahrer Waldes war stets freundlich und vertrauensvoll. Bei der Fahrt ist der Wechsel zwischen den interessanten Städten und der zunehmend einsamen Landschaft sehr reizvoll. Man erfährt sehr viel über die Hanse, Deutsche Orden , Sowjetzeit und Bedeutung der Unabhängigkeit seit 1990. Ich bin von dieser Tour begeistert und empfehle sie meinen Freunden.

Eine sehr interessante, abwechslungsreiche und sehr gut organisierte geführte Radreise mit sehr gutem Reiseleiter (Edgaras), gutem Busfahrer (Valdes), sehr komfortablem Bus und angenehmer Teilnehmerzahl (8).
