Self-guided cycling tour from Hotel Seeblick in Bernried exploring the Starnberger See region. Itinerary

The travel documents and hire bikes (if booked) are already available at the hotel. Enjoy the comfort of the hotel or a first swim in the lake.

Cycle through almost unspoilt nature to the Riegsee lake. Perhaps plan a detour to Murnau with its beautiful market street before you head for the 20 waters of the Osterseen, which are among the warmest lakes in Germany.

After today's cycle tour, you will understand them well, the monks, nuns and priests who built 159 churches and many monasteries in the Pfaffenwinkel. The landscape undoubtedly has something divine about it.

The train takes you to Munich and you get on your bike; the English Garden and the Hofbräuhaus are not the only places worth visiting. The return journey along the Isar cycle path takes you past Wolfratshausen to Lake Starnberg.

A day in the famous Pfaffenwinkel region that combines culinary and cultural delights. Andechs Monastery is not only a popular destination for pilgrims and culture lovers; the beer garden is one of the most beautiful in Germany. Walk or cycle to the Ammersee as far as Herrsching.

Today, Lake Starnberg itself is the destination of the tour. Not only the villas of Bavarian celebrities are on the way, but also quaint, shady guest gardens, Italian ice cream parlours and dreamy bathing bays.

Some of the stages are a little more challenging, with a few steep climbs. You cycle on mostly asphalted or paved farm tracks, occasionally on small side roads.
With an electric bike, this trip is an easy tour for everyone.
