From one hotel bike trips into the luneburg heath
After your welcome briefing and the distribution of your rental bikes you have the possibility to visit the historic old city of Schneverdingen.
Wilseder Berg
"Heath-, forest and people stories". This is the theme of the former heath farm, Today it is a discovery center for forest and nature - "The Ehrhorn 1". Enjoy a break. Afterwards you cycle past typical charming villages like Wilsede and Niederhavebeck back to Schneverdingen. (approx. 31 km)
Today you cycle from Schneverdingen-Zahrensen to the watermil (technically preserved) in the town Lünzen. Afterwards you cycle to Fintel. It is a small town with the residence of "Friedrich Freudenthal", a well known north-german homeland dense. You cycle past the towns Haswede and Osterwede back to Schneverdingen. (approx. 32 km)
Soltau
You drive by train to Soltau (duration about 15 minutes). Visit the lovely town hall, the toys museum or the amusement park with its numerous shows and attractions. On the way back to Schneverdingen you come to Wieheholz, location of the last known battle of knights. In Möhr the heath farm was managed until 1977. And you cycle to Wolterdingen with the typical gothic heath church. (approx. 42 km)
Höpen and Forst
You cycle through the nature to Wintermoor, the door to the heath. You visit the nature park "Höpen" near Schneverdingen. Explore the heath garden with 130 different location gentile and approx 120.000 plants. (approx. 30 km)
Individual departure
The route
You cycle on bike paths and side roads. In the nature reserve unfortified wood paths or gravel paths. Traffic? No problem! You will cycle on bike paths also in bigger cities.
