Itinerary

Come to Mainz in good time today! Not only the Roman-Germanic Central Museum, the Gutenberg Museum, the Imperial Cathedral and the Electoral Palace are worth an extensive visit. The hire bikes (if booked) are ready for you.

Welcome to the UNESCO world cultural heritage Upper Middle Rhine valley! Your first tour leads you through soft vineyards and well-known wine villages. If you want to visit Eltville or monastery Eberbach you have to cycle 14 km more. In Rudesheim you have several possibilities: a wine tasting, an excursion through the well-known Drossel, a relaxed journey by cable-car.

Magnificent castles greet you along the way. Everywhere is worth a stop, and in Bacharach you should climb the
city wall before reaching your overnight accommodation for the day.

Continuing through the narrow Rhine Valley, the route first leads to Boppard. It's a bustling place, but you can
also take the chairlift to the Vier-Seen-Blick viewpoint and escape to the quiet, wooded heights. Or visit Stolzenfels Castle, a gem of Prussian Rhine Romanticism, on the way to the Deutsches Eck in Coblenz.

Today you will come to sanitaria, inviting wine villages, thermal spas and beer gardens. Or maybe you want to rest today? No problem, you can go by ship from Coblenz to Bad Godesberg as well.

Spend some time in Bonn which is on your way to Cologne. As soon as you see the Cologne dome you are not too far away from your hotel. There is enough time left for this beautiful city with its many places of interests!

Parking in the nearby multi-storey car park, costs approx. € 15,- per day, limited number, no reservation possible. Or free Park & Ride car park
Return transfer by minibus, Cologne from approx. 11:00 a.m. on Thursdays and Saturdays, price € 105,- per person, we charge an additional € 45,- per person for the return transfer of your own bike. Booking required.
Or on your own by train Cologne - Mainz, approx. 1,5 - 2 hours.
