Welcome to Colmar. The city is known for its architecture of six centuries and is called the Capital of the Alsace wines.
First, you cycle to Riebauvillé. Lots of houses from the 16. and 17. century have endured. Back to Colmar, you will pass romantic villages like Riquewihr, Turckheim and Eguisheim.
On your way to Sélestat you pass Marckolsheim. Alternatively, you can take the train back to Colmar.
Today you cross several times the German-French boarder. Visit the baroque fortification Neuf-Brisach and cycle on to Breisach (D) and Marckolsheim (F).
