Given the immense variety, finding the right bike can be a time-consuming task. If you think carefully about what your bike needs to be capable of before buying, you will get to your destination much faster.
Whether you choose a bike or pedelec, the choice of different radars is huge. Whether cargo bikes, low-level bikes, design bikes, folding bikes or gravel bikes. It all depends on their daily lives.
On the road by bicycle for days, weeks or even months – that’s the great freedom that more and more cyclists are allowing themselves. A competent touring bike or touring bike must therefore be equipped with stable support, robust and superior brakes. Saddle bags, handlebars and other
Our touring bikes have the following equipment
- Handlebar bag as required
- Saddle bag per bike
- Bike lock
- Service-Set (incl. tools and repair set) per room
- Bicycle pump
- milometer (counter kilometer)
With every rental bike booking you will receive a bag from our cooperation partner “Vaude” with approx. 20 volumes. The bag can be used to lower the center of gravity for safe driving. In addition, you can easily place a luggage roller or, if necessary, a replacement jacket.
Steering stop
There are many different handlebars. Which one suits you best depends on the position of the seat: An upright seat is best bent upwards, while a straight handle or a road bike handlebar is suitable for a sporty sitting posture.
A steering stop prevents the handlebar from turning over and damaging the frame when it is mounted or our already mounted handlebar pockets.
Handlebar bag
To accommodate additional luggage, the additional handlebar bag on the handlebar is helpful and necessary. Here you can store all the little things like travel documents, camera, sunglasses etc.
The volume for the water-repellent handlebar bag is approx. 6 litres and is included with the KlickFix confirmation with every rental bike booking. In order to be able to clearly read the route maps for your journey, the handlebar bag offers a transparent map holder always in sight.
Super handy!
I enjoyed the handlebar bag to the fullest! The bag is waterproof and always within reach. My rain gear, my mobile phone and the hotel list remained dry despite the rain showers. Overall, a lot fits in and is a great addition to the luggage bag.

Framework
The choice of frame material determines to a large extent the overall weight of the bicycle. Our Rückenwind bicycle frames are made of aluminum. It is a very lightweight, yet robust material.
Your height determines the frame size for the rental bike.
Save brakes and gears
In order to be able to meet the wishes of our guests even more, we offer our bikes with two different gear shifting systems. A very smooth 21/24-speed chain shifting from the brand manufacturer Shimano as well as a tourable 7-speed hub shifting from the same manufacturer, which also offers a reverse brake.
Comfortable saddle with a lot of comfort
For our touring and electric bikes we offer a handlebar override, so you can enjoy the ride comfortably in an upright position of the upper body. The larger the seat overhang, the deeper the handlebar and thus the more athletic the posture on the touring bike. You will find this variant with most sports bikes – so also with our rental bike+ bikes.
